I haven't been over there in years either. Changes with new owners and a lot of nasty guys.

I’ve never had Facebook so I don’t know about that. The conversations always go off the rails when you introduce politics into the conversations.
I do believe that they have better forum categories than this site. Much better differentiation.
It makes it much easier to find and participate in topics that are of interest to you.

It is a much larger site and there is a lot of good info there. You can find most anything you want to know using search. Many of us here started on that site. But I couldn't take the attitude of many of the people there anymore. You either agreed with them or you're an idiot. I don't know everything and I'm open to other opinions. Even if I don't agree I'm not going to call someone out on it. I'll express my opinion and leave it at that.

Not sure why but some people lose all sense of decency when they're on a keyboard. If they treated people the same way in person I suspect they'd get a few teeth knocked out.

Well put Hank. Especially the "teeth" part.

I agree Hank. Plus, I just realized there is no “like” button on this site. Or did I miss it?

Probably should have said they'd get kicked in the nuts Tony. Or is that reserved for doctors?

The like button is you're here. The don't like button is the X at the upper right. Please stay with us, maybe we can turn this site around. This has been a tough summer dealing with everything going on. I think that's got a lot to do with the drop off in activity.

Just my 2 cents worth...
A like button lets someone chime in without actually writing. Maybe they liked the content but had nothing to add.
Plus, it subscribes the person to the thread which alerts them via email when a new reply is added. This can tickle someone to go back to the post and maybe spend time on the site.

Well you have to talk to the boss if you want a 'like' button. Good luck with that.
