Default Barrett Jackson Auction

Just got back from the auction.
Two 1970 Chevelle's are leading the pack after two days.
This beautiful numbers matching LS6 sold for $255,000 including the buyers charge.

And this charity custom for $250,000. This car was amazing.

We have watched some of that auction on TV for the past two days. Some of the prices were alot lower than even we thought. And then some, like the two you posted made the sellers really happy.

Glad to see that the American Hero's Chevelle made $250,000.00 for the fallen hero's fund. Did the buyer have to pay the all the buyers fees, or did the auction house not charge them on this charity auction.

I think I heard them say that they were waiving the buyer's fees.

No fees. That is typical for all BJ charity listed cars. It was actually pretty emotional during the sale of that car. The honor guard led the car in and then they had a moment of silence after it sold. Pretty cool

I like to watch just to see the cars. Its funny how most people run around quoting how much the big buck cars go for but Friday there were, in my opinion, many that went for down right cheap, or very reasonable prices.

I watched a lot of the auction Saturday and Sunday. I didn't get to see the black Chevelle (above) go by but I did see the blue convertible. It was absolutely stunning and bought by an ordinary looking guy.

Like Grumpy said, there were a bunch of beautiful cars that were sold at what I would say were very reasonable prices, if not cheap. Some cars, like the LS6 convertible, did get bid into the stratosphere but that's just the way the mop flops.
