I walked by it this afternoon. I fixed the issue with brakes about 6-8 weeks ago. That was a nice victory. I'm trying to spend one day a week tinkering with it. I've decided to sell it once finished. It's too nice, I'll be afraid of something happening to it. It's already gotten a few scratches just sitting in the garage. Mind you, I have layers of thick blankets on it and it still happened. Going to have the paint fixed one final time, then it goes to a friend's dealership on consignment.

Nice Ken, I put a bunch of freeway miles on today, A/C still works that tickled me to death. Boy and I went to the scenic overlook for some pictures. But it was so bright you couldn't get a good one, Oil leak is very minimal. Nothing went wrong. We had a great morning. It is alive now at least worth the years of waiting,

I bought better fans. Car wasnt liking being on the freeway a hour then going into traffic with the air on.

And i ordered parts for a vacuum pump for the brakes. They got hard sitting in traffic. Worked fine but they could be better.

LOL new fans are not louder. It does sound like a remote control plane now. The 10 foot long jobs. Turn these fans on and there is sheet flying under the hood and car. The condensor is unsealed and 2 1/2 inches from the radiator. If you drop a sheet of paper in front of it. Sticks right to it.

Well I been driving this thing alot working out the bugs. I about got the oil leaks whooped now. Distributor was most of it running down the back looked like other things leaking.

It gets real hot of course. I am told just put some miles on the old girl she will simmer down. I got a motorcycle now a 650 Nighthawk. So I took the chevelle out then rode the bike. Here is the old girl sitting between rides. She is a monster.

Temps are in the 70's I put a water wetter from royal purple in it. It is hanging in there now not heat creeping. I got oil leaks down to a low roar.

I been driving it putting some miles on it. Gets a whopping 9 mpg now.

Changed the rear end oil, checked tranny fluid level, checked engine oil level, brake fluid level, cleaned rims and dressed tires, tightened up the console, adjusted the e brake cable, put a bead of weld on the tailpipe-to-mufflers connection. Just thikering…
