ya its a project but idk what to really do with it jus cuz of vin tags n everything . n plus idk if 66 or 67 . i have a title says 66 ss . but dont look like no ss to me specially with 66 front end and looks to be 67 tails.

That's extremely odd. Your title has a 136 VIN on it and says SS? 136 is a standard sport coupe while the 138 is the SS model. They did make the 136 SS version in Canada, but your tag is not a canadian tag. Do the tag rivets look original or tampered with?

I'm completely lost on the rear. It looks like 67 rear corner on a 66 car to me as well.

Your rivets on the VIN tag look to be the wrong type to me, but I'm no expert.

ya i know what ya mean ... the bottom rivets look org but top 2 look broken off . but idk . i got off phone with guy got car off of n he said he got it off org owner . n said sometime another he dont know story but rear panel has been changed n 67 tail lights put n it idk is that possible ? im 34 years old n dont know whole lot bout old cars but tryin learn . and rear cb antenna is kinda crazy . but IF the car was a ss . wouldnt it be a 4 speed car other then a 3 ?

or is it possible chevelle made a ss package with out putting big block 4 speed in car .

Yes that's possible, but the #136 SS cars are Canadian and have the Canadian VIN tag. Maybe yours was removed and replaced with the current American VIN tag.

could anyone run my vin tag and find out what my car was stock motor and trans ? i think was a 4 speed car cause can tell where other stuff was stock . n then they notched it for the 3 speed shifter ...

i pulled motor n trans today . numbers on front i couldnt find online . but read numbers on back of block and turned out to be 283... but i was tryin to run vin decode or something to figure out what my car came with stock . motor n trans .
