Aftermarket ac kits

I’ve been seriously considering adding aftermarket ac in my original 69l l34 and I’m wondering after reading a million conversations on the subject, does anybody have vintage or classic air? Were they truly bolt in with no cutting/ drilling? How bad is glovebox loss? Are either easier or harder to install?
I’m looking to purchase and install over the winter
