I went today and seemed like there was a lot of Mopar and Jeep parts. I did not send anything for my brother to sell, decided that I would hang on to them a little longer.
Did see a 1970 Chevelle, Red with a Tan interior and bench seats. $12,000.00. I was not impressed with this car at all, crappy paint job, gauges were put randomly around the steering wheel and looked like some kid just cut and pasted them there.
Next was a 1967 Chevelle set up for drag racing. Had a huge list of parts, but no price. This car had the fiberglass front end, roll cage, but didn't really spark anything that said "cool".
Then when I was talking to a friend there her was telling me of an elderly gentleman who has a 1965 Malibu Wagon that he restored a few years back. He didn't go overboard, just wanted to try to go as original as possible. This gentleman is looking to sell it for about $10,000. Now this I am interested in. I will contact my friend after he is done putting all the leftovers from the swap away, I will give him a couple days. :)
Talked to my brother, he said he got rid of quite a few things, but it would have been nice to get rid of it all. We all know how it goes, it stinks having to take it back home.
I myself, almost bought a snow blower, but ended up with some finishing brushes and some smaller tools. Had a good time, but nothing really caught my fancy. Oh yeah, I did find a cool pic of a car from the 60's at Detroit Dragway that I bought.
