But I am a Chevy/GM girl at heart. I have had the Minivan, now we own a full size Astro and we love it. I had a Venture and that was the best damn minivan, I sold it to my son and missed it the day he left for Texas. We even tried to buy a used one a few years back, and people wanted way too much money for one.

I bought Lindsay an Uplander for dog shows, that's been a pretty good van for her. First GM car in the family for years. Chevelles and Corvettes don't count.:p

If your ABS light ever comes on let me know, we make the ABS unit and sensors for that vehicle. That truck was made in Janesville Wis and I was the customer quality engineer at that time and was there twice a month.

The ABS on my 02 Z71 keeps acting up. Kicks in when coming to a slow stop. If the sensors are good I hear you remove the sensors, clean up the rust, apply rust inhibitor and reinstall. Guess I'll give that a try.

EDIT: Talk about hijacking a thread!

Yep...this ones doing the same thing, my BIL says there was a TSB addressing this exact issue...I'm gonna take it to him and let him pull the wheels and give the complete braking system a once over!!

Get it checked out. I'm going to check my today. Scary stopping sometimes, keep pressing harder on the pedal and the ABS just chatters away.

mines not bad, just when moving very slowly and coming to a complete stop.
