Gary:

Just saw this thread. All of your family are in my prayers!!! No offense to anyone as there have been many good posts but I think Hank says it best. Be there for Maureen and for Lindsay as they will both need you.......

I know you have to work Gary but being by her side, you don't have to say a word, just being by her side is probably the best thing you can do for her.

EDIT: It's like going to a funeral. The person has passed on, there is nothing you can do for them. You go to show your support for the loved ones that are still here.

Certainly, but you can also do that in your own private way. The important part is being there and the support your presence gives the family, loved ones. Just seeing you, even if they don't have time to spend with you makes a big difference. I've had more than one person tell me that. The fact the I was there meant a lot to them.

Being there is important for your wife. Been throught this in the last 3 years twice now. It never gets any easer, but having the one I love there made it more bearable. Your family is in our prayers.

Just stopped in to see how your family is doing. Glad to hear your daughter came back for you and Maureen. Take care of yourself.
