Dont deny yourself a hamburger. Hamburger is good for you if you get lean beef. Heres what I make all the time, tonights supper as a matter of fact.

I take 2 pounds of 95% lean hamburger, two whole eggs, two cups of finely chopped spinich, and some onion soup mix and mix it all up together in a big bowl. Then I make 6 nice patties out of it and grill them up. Put them between a couple slices of Healthy Life 99% sugar free bread.

I'll tell you what, this makes some of the best hamburgers I have ever eaten in my life, and they are amazingly healthy if you run the numbers. Spinich is a serious power food, and this recipe has so much protein in it your metabolism wont know how high it can go.

Try it out

The key to successfully getting yourself fit and losing weight is not to diet, but to change your lifestyle. A lifestyle change cant deny you of things you love, or you will go back to it and gorge and then you're back to square 1. Rather find ways to eat what you love, but do it in a healthier manner. I love hamburgers, couldnt live without them in my life, so I found a way to make a food I love become a food I love and be very good for me.

Tried out the Hamburgers last night, came out great. My wife used Turkey burger instead and they were good. Put them on the barbecue.

I have gone from 280 in December to 233 as of this morning. Goal is 220 to 225 since I'm 6' 4" that should be about right. Had to buy new pants that are now 4" smaller in the mid section. The only thing I have done is stopped eating fast foods and prepare fresh food that are good for you. I stop drinking pop and this is the killer no beer. If you take your body weight and dived it by 2 that is how much water you should be drinking a day. My work has me walking about 3 to 5 miles a day so I have not had to do any extra work outs. I went from a desk job to working outside for this reason. I neeed to be moving more.

Guys...

I kind of ditched on being serious about doing this...I have a tendency to over-eat when I'm stressed, and there's been a LOT of stress around here in the last 4 or 5 months.

Anyways, I made a promise to myself about a month ago to stop drinking soda cold turkey. Ooooohhhhh...quit drinking soda...big deal, huh? Well, I probably drank 5 or 6 a day, at LEAST. Some days, it would be all I drank except for coffee. Since around the same time, I have made a very small effort to cut back portion sizing and late night snacking.

I've lost almost 10 pounds, without really doing anything except trying not to get fatter.

Thats awesome Jake, getting rid of the soda has many more health benefits than simply weight as well. Back in 2004 I cut out all soda from my diet, and believe it or not, I was drinking 16 cans of mountain dew a day!!!! I was getting severe stomache pains, I cut out the soda and have been fine ever since. When I was a smoker I was a 3 pack a day smoker along with a tin of chew a day, needless to say, when I get addicted to things, I fall in hard. For a long long time my diet consisted of nothing more than tobacco and mountain dew. No good at all. Now a few years later and I am in the best health of my life doing things I couldnt have done at 18 and it sure feels good. I am teaching my youngest how to ride a bike, and to be able to run alongside her all day long and not get winded is an amazing feeling.

And for the record, I allow myself one root beer float a year, otherwise no soda. My liquid intake is water or milk, or gatorade, nothing more, no soda and no alcohol at all.

That's not at all good for your body. Our body requires a minimum of 15 mins exercise every day.Just simply take a round of your house, after frequent intervals.if you sit for a long time and then get up,you'll experience trouble getting up.So why dont you start doing exercise from today and become more fitter.

Anyone else having any luck with the challenge? I'm now only 5 pounds from my goal of 220. It has been a life style change and it's mostly from just eating the right food. No prepared foods or fast foods since March.
