Decca and Columbia have some pretty cool stuff. You can't ever have too much Xavier Cugat, I tell ya.

I'll buy most anything jazz/lounge/big band/latin from the 50s-70s that's in good shape, though.

Even the stuff in bad shape can be salvaged for the music. I wash a lot of LPs in the kitchen sink :) then once they are on the computer, I use the magic razzle dazzle to get rid of the clicks and pops and the hiss.

I have my turntable, amp, and laptop set up in the basement, as it's the only place the records don't skip.

Here is a really bad pic of my turntable.

I can't tell, is that a Sota?

I've got an old HK T-35 I bought years ago when I was in college. I was looking at that and an AR, both demo models and the same price, in an American in Appleton, and like a dummy I bought the wrong damn one.

Still, it's been a good unit. I have an Audio Technica cartridge with their "line contact" stylus (same as Shure's hyperelliptical).

So, what do you clean your LPs with?

With that kind of playing equipment, I'm guessing one of these:

alas, with my budget, I'm limited to one of these, which is still better than a Discwasher:
