Pics of my 70 SS

Here are some pics of my 1970 SS 396 that I picked up 2.5 weeks ago. I love this car and have been having a lot of fun digging into her and cleaning it up and restoring some of the interior and exterior pieces.

Thanks Rich. I just finished replacing the dash, dash pad and radio. I have to take a few pics of the completed project and post up some before/afters pics. It wasn't in all that bad of shape, just not as pretty as the rest of the interior and exterior.

I still can't believe I own it. It's been 1 1/2 months now and I still get excited when I see it in the garage and still get a HUGE grin on my face when I fire her up and go for a ride. I'm kind of a reserved/shy person and I'm not use to getting so much attention with a car.

If you dont mind me asking,
Where did you get the the new dash and dash pad?
I've been wanting to replace mine but i'm having a hard time finding anything other than black.
Maybe the place you got your's has some in the gold...

I got mine from NPD, I'm pretty sure they only come in black. What's nice about the one from NPD is that the silver trim is chromed plastic, unlike others that are painted silver.

You could probably paint one to whatever color you would like. That's how this one came, the entire dash piece is chromed plastic and the black is painted.
