New Chevelle owner from PA
 

Hi,i noticed this forum about a month ago and decided to join from some of the threads i was reading.i purchased my 70 SS in April 2010 after a LONG 2 year search.The previous owner from Johnstown,Pa did a very nice frame on restoration (factory stock).The engine was taken out of the car and rebuilt.He installed an 700R4 overdrive automatic transmission in place of the th400 transmission.when i recieved the Chevelle i installed an electronic ignition,electric choke.The Chevelle drives great.I prefer driving it over my daily driver (Subaru Legacy).The car is driven on NICE DRY weekend days.I can't wait to take it out again this year. Thanks guys for the kind words!I enjoy taking the Chevelle to car shows/cruise nights and seeing peoples reactions and compliments when i show my Chevelle off.

Nice Chevelle, I wish mine looked like that. I always liked the Fathom Blue color with the Black interior. I checked out the album also. That quarter that got replaced didn't even look like it was all that bad and the floors were nice too! It must be nice to have something that has always been solid car. I might be a little jealous.
