Camaro outsells the Mustang
I am not a huge fan of the newer body styles but it was nice to read that the 2011 Camaro outsold the 2011 Mustang. If you want to read about it, just click the link.
http://www.businessweek.com/news/201...-year-run.html Are you a fan of the new body styles ? |
It was waaaay overdue when it finally came out. The production model changed a LOT from the prototypes. It is still a nice pony car though.

Im kind of surpised at that ,but its a good thing for Chevrolet I guess. I actually like the Mustangs better but then again I havent driven a new Camaro. The Mustang drives great but I cant afford anything new and keep the classics too.
|
+1 for the new mustangs. I like 'em. The camaros aren't bad though. To be honest, I would prefer a v6 camaro or mustang for a daily driver over a GT or SS. 300 hp & around 30 mpg is pretty damn good. I like getting my v8 fix from the classics...

I like the new camaro, but it's too big & heavy.
|
They better outsell them about 4-1. They have a few years to catch up on. The camaros look like they weigh 10 tons with a chopped roof.
|
I like the new Camaro. But who outsold who 2005-2010:p
|
If I could afford one Id have a 2006 or so drop top Mustang with a v6 .They drive great and look good too. The new ones they rounded the tail too much for my liking but Id still like one over the Camaro.
|
When they first showed the prototype of the Camaro, I really liked it. But even with the subtle changes they made, it really changed the look of the car. I think that the Camaro would have done better if they would have only kept the prototype look.

they've been outselling the stang since the start of production in 09

Camaro outsells the Mustang
It's the classic Ford Mustang vs. Chevrolet Camaro battle, only this time it's supercharged. With heavily breathed-upon factory versions of these ...

Always been a chevy man but.....
Wife and I went to buy a new 2011 camaro but she decided that didn't like the colors and I decided I didn't like the rear of the car so off to mustang alley we went. Ended up with a 211 Rouch 5XR (#92 out of 133 built). Car buddy has a 2010 supercharged camaro and when I took him for a ride in the mustang he wanted to trade. What can I say.....

This is a cool looking car. Didn't I see that this one was signed by Mr. Rouch himself.
|
I drove a Camaro SS as a company car for about a month before we sold it.I like my Mustang GT much better.
|
I like the Mustang much better than the Camaro ,you chose well.
|

Well,
I guess I'll chime in to say I bought a 2013 Camaro SS convertible. It has the dual mode exhaust like the ZL-1 Camaro, Hurst short throw shifter and posi rearend w/3:45 gears. I signed the papers last Saturday. It was shipped to Nickey Chicago http://www.nickeychicago.net/ to have some work done to it. I couldn't bring myself to just leave it stock.Bowtie smiley This is what it looks like at the moment. It won't look like this when I take delivery in person in a couple months. THIS is why I put my cars up for sale. Some people might think I'm crazy for doing this, but when you see my Camaro, I think you'll like it. Stay tuned........... http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e1...psa4279550.jpg |
