please be gentle. I'm Ray from the great Northwest and have a '65 Chevelle Malibu with a 283, PwrGlide, no frills two door aching with potential. I'm ready to fix it up and make it a daily driver that my oldest daughter (29 yr old) can drive when she gets back from Korea.

Welcome to the site! I can tell ya there is a plethora of information on here with some very helpful people that have helped me during my rebuild. We LOVE pictures so when you get your card reader working we'd love to see em.

The Chevelle and ElCamino club of Oregon is having it's annual show July 19th at Wilsonville Chevrolet 9am-3pm. Come out and see us even if your car is not drivable yet. Good place to get some idea's.

I've been holding off cuz little embarrassed I haven't done more to body yet but here's some pics that aren't too revealing. I'll have to start a build thread soon.

Nothing to be embarrassed about. We're all working on our cars trying to make them better. Yours is a lot better than some of us started with.

Dont be embarrassed ,one of my trucks is going backwards as I have been stealing parts off it for one off the others ,got to quit that.

Not a problem. We all have lives that make us put our cars on the back burner.

I like it. Got a lot of potential. Thats more car then what I started with.
