wind shield wiper sprayer setup?
 

OK so i got my wiper motor finally and i am already to put it on and then i learned it has a wiper pump on it. So i was wondering how do i set that all up? do they sell a kit that i can buy with the bottle/bag and hoses and nozzles? can someone show me some pictures so i know what i am looking for/at?

Shaun, I don't know how close a 69 and a 70 are but this is a pic of my 70. The hose goes from the plastic bottle, along the inner fender, over the brake booster and into the pump/motor. Hope this helps ya.

perfect ken that is what i needed to see. I had no idea where it went. I will do a bit more searching on the 69 chevelle to see if that is where it mounts. I searched to see what they are already i know ground up sells all of it but without knowing where it goes and how its hooked up those google pictures do me no good

nah your input was still good i just needed to see where it was mounted so i can understand what else i need to get. I need to get the bracket and the mounting screws for it now that i know where it goes

It is a puzzle once you had them apart a long time. I kinda dreading trying to put my cozy wings back in. That stuff been mixed up for years. It gonna take a while to find all the little parts. I got them in that mess somewhere tho.

now i have an issue. I went to mount the wiper motor and it doesn't fit!!

what is wrong here? or what did i do wrong? i can't get it to mount can someone point me in the right direction or tell me if i have the wrong wiper motor

Do you have the hidden wipers or non-hidden? That looks like the hidden wiper motor that's on mine. It may be the wrong motor.

from what i understand after talking to a well know chevelle parts guy i am missing a bracket that goes between the firewall and the wiper motor. He is shipping me out the bracket on monday :)

Well mine been apart 10 years. At least you are refreshing me on what is what for when I got to buy parts to put these things together soon. I looked at mine yesterday and the motor i got isn't the right one. The original got used on something else. Boy I am sure glad it is in my garage now where things can't mysteriously wander off anymore.

lol yeah i beat you to it. now that i look at that one i might just get the one from ground up...lol but the one he is sending me is going to be free...lol

Well I don't have a good picture of the washer bottle but it looks like its mounted on the fender like the 70's. Here's the pictures I have.

You ever get your bracket put on? I went to a cruise in this evening and that same car was there so I took some pictures of the washer bottle for you today if you still it? Got to talking to the guy a little bit and came to find out he lives about 6 houses from me.....Small world. So, if ya need to see anything else I can probably check it out for ya.

yeah i need those pics. I just got it mounted today i didn't get a picture yet but its on and working finally

The junker I bringing home next sat has the bottle in the pics. It should be original line routing. If you dont get it by then I may be of some help.

9 times out of 10 i will not get it by then...lol
