Car is being painted this weekend....
 

I am so excited. My Chevelle is being painted this weekend. I have been so lucky working with the guys who are doing all the work on my car. Even up to last night, when I changed the color of the stripe. I never thought that choosing the color of a car would be so damn difficult. I know that it will still be a while till the car is totally done, but it has been 9 months since I have had it, and I can't wait to see what these guys do.

Went with the black, with a silver stripe. Grumpy is looking for some black rims, actually I think that he has found them. Now we just have to find the money to buy them..lol... You guys know what that is like, don't ya.

OK ...so I went and checked out the silver that Eric and Glenn had painted onto a test board for me, and I really liked it. The silver had just the right amount of metal flake in it and against the black it looked sweet. So the plan was for the guys to take the car this morning to the paint booth and when they were done to take it to a friends empty business space, and let the car sit so the paint has plenty of time to cure.

I am so excited to see it...I hope everything went as planned. If I knew where this place was I would probably be there trying to look in the window. lol.....

Guys, I L O V E how that stripe looks. Very sharp. Are you going to tint the windows?

We have the factory green tint windows for now.

I love the stripe too. I talked about stripes till we were all sick of it. Knowing what I liked, Glenn took what I said and designed a stripe especially for me.

Multiple coats of clear coat will prevent Grumpy from taking them away. lol..

Some smoke grey from Auto City Classic would look awesome!!
