I was so excited today. The car has been covered with dust, and they did a quick wash, as you can tell by the water on the floor. And then they pulled the car out and did a quick pass in the parking lot.

We still have a lot of small things to do, and things to clean up. But it is so close. And I still love the color and the stripe.

I posted on the other site that I wanted to see a side shot and you heard me all the way over here .I love it ,the stripe and color .Congrats Ms Grumpy ,well worth the wait.

By the way that would make a great window sticker background .

It probably would, except for the guys who have a different year Chevelle.

You could always photoshop 2 more headlights on it.:p

It looks great. The side stripe belongs there. The stance is right on, and the paint looks deep even from here.

I know that some people will say negative things for some of the things that we have done. But I really don't care.

To me, the Chevelle is so much better than I could have ever expected. And my opinion, I think, is the most important one.

Your opinion is really the only one that counts. Doesn't matter what you do you're never going to please everybody. So might as well make yourself happy and not worry about everybody else.

I have had the same vanity plate on the car for over 10 years. And after all the work that has been done, I decided to redo the plate also. It was hard because everyone knew who's car it was because of that orange, and the plate was a version of Grumpy.

So this past week when we were deciding on what to put on the car it was not as easy as I thought. Unfortunately I can't post the exact plate, because, believe it or not, their are people who may not like me. And we all know that you don't put your personal information out there. Anyway, we were really surprised at the plates that are actually available.

It has been raining here for 2 days, and it is supposed to stop. It has to stop so that we can take the car to Milan Dragway on Sunday.

The camcorders charging, got plenty of memory in the digital camera, now I just need a little luck. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Great looking 72 Ms. Grumpy!!. Has a Heavy Chevy look to it.

I considered the Heavy Chevy stripe for so long. But I worked with my brother and Glenn and we came up with the stripe it has now. I really like how it came out too.

looking good.My wifes first car was a 72 with the heavy chevy package.Didnt know her at the time so never saw it.She got rid of it because it was always breaking down on her.I always got my eye ouy for a 71-72 because I know she wants another one.
