My car made the news
 

Tonight was the Berkley Classic Car Parade which is the kick off to the Woodward Dream Cruise. I was one of the first few people to get into line for the parade. When I got home I watched the news about the parade which had 460 cars. I saw Davids Jeep Commando, my car was the black one right in front of it (.20 in video). Then further into the tape they show a close up of my son and they pan out to my Chevelle (.45 in video). How cool is that? Check it out.

My son Jacob is going to be so thrilled when he sees it. He had already gone to bed, cause we are getting up at 5am to go and get our spot set up.

Very cool having your car on tv .We have a video clip from our local station where our car was on tv .We asked them for a copy of the video but they wanted $100 for a short clip so we just got it from their website even though they have it fixed so it cant be recorded.

Sounds like a great day coming up.

I hope so, morning looks hot and humid, but rain and possible thunderstorms in the afternoon. Good thing we only live about 2 miles from where we will be parked.

Heading out early this morning. Hope the rain holds off til this afternoon. I am taking the Chevelle first thing but I will be watching the skies, and if it starts looking bad, I will bring my car home. Hoping for a great day.
