Locating transmission date codes

Where do I find the date code on my Chevy TH350? I know this is the original Transmission from from 1972 Chevelle. It have the matching VIN number. It is for sale by the way.

Says "TH350 (1972 and earlier)= on the upper flange of the transmission housing converter opening"
