I bet you get a lot of people checking out this thread with a title post like that! Looks like a nice rear with no pits but I don't see a crack in the middle. (sorry, couldn't resist) Are you sticking with the 3.31's or are you going to go with a lower (numerically higher) ratio?

I have the original T-400 stashed away in the garage. I put a 700r4 in a couple years ago. I changed the gears from 3:31's to 3:73's. (No "Crack" in this rear end.) :D

Wasn't sure I wanted to look at this! Looks like brand new Brian, nice job.

Thanks for the kind words. Now I just have to get my "butt" back in the Chevelle. :D Hank, your welcome to come over and give me a hand. Waving Just kidding. :D |
Doesn't look like it had been under the car all that long. Really clean. I think I will leave the rearend jokes to everyone else.

Hey Ray,
Thats the original rear end to my Chevelle. The Car was built and spent the first 18yrs in GA. I was very fortunate to find this car for sale online in Stoney Creek Ontario, Canada. Can't wait to get her back on the road. Come on Spring! :D |
