Leaky Diff. Plug (Why?)

Guys,
I filled my diff. the other day and now I noticed that it looks like its leaking from around the plug. :( I tightened it up alittle more, but its still leaking. Do I need to put some thread tape on it?
Let me know soon, the weather is getting better everyday and I really want to drive it this summer. :)

Ive used thread tape on mine before and it was fine.
