Carpet Suggestions?
 

Since I found a set of door panels for my Chevelle I am now looking to replace my old worn carpet. Not at all familiar with the various venders offerings so looking for suggestions as to best bang for the buck. Dark blue inerior carpet right now (code #725) and wanting to stay with that. Any first hand knowledge on what's out there is much appreciated.

Unfortuneately not much info to give but a premoulded carpet is very nice to deal with. It was slightly more money but worth it in my opinion for the time saved. I decided to purchese my complete interior from a vendor that was fairly close to my home. It ended up costing less for shipping/exchange rate than if I ordered it from th US at the time. The complete interior was about $1100. Carpet,door panels, seat skins, headliner and visors were in the kit. All the same dark blue as you want. All I can say is that looking around on the internet and even locally can really pay off. My local speed shop can order many of the parts for my car at very competitive prices to the major catalogs with no extra shipping costs.

I also bought a complete interior package with carpeting. The carpet was made by Trim Parts. The fit was pretty good but the trans hump had too much carpet to fit tight around the hump. This seems to be a common complaint, no matter who makes the carpet.

I have a console and the front and rear pieces overlap under it. I slit and removed some of the excess under the console so it fits pretty good now.

Thanks for the replies. Have had some small experience with trim parts when I restored my '71 1/2 ton 4x4 Chevy. Will look into the ACC and the ss396 sites. Pretty sure the molded carpet is the way to go.
