runs strong, stalls often

My 1970 Chevelle 307(auto) starts right up, runs strong on the highway but stalls at stops and lights often. After about 10-15mins of driving the problem seems to go away. The good part, is it starts right back up no problem.

Anyone out there have any advice?

Mine did that when I first got it but it was all the time. All it turned out to be was the carb mounting bolts were loose and the gasket was damaged. Replaced the gasket and tightened the bolts and it was good after.
