Here is a recent pic of my 68. I am in the middle of a transmission swap the th400 finally took a dump on me. I am not complaing though, I got well over 200 WOT passes out of it, and it came with car.

I have really been gettting into the bracket racing the last couple of years. I was even able to finished in the top ten of my class this last year and earned some purse winnings.

Best time for the car is a very slow 13.80 at 99.0 mph. This is with a 3.08 gear and a 2000 stall. Over the next two months I will be adding some 3.73 gears and the new tranny is getting a 2500 rpm stall. Hopefully I will be able to take down my buddies 83 trans am that runs 13.60's??

Must be the stealth version of the 68 cause I don't see anything. Think you forgot something.

Do you ever get a chance to run with Rowdy and his black '66 at LVMS ?

I have seen Rowdys 66 run numerous times out at the speedway. All the events I race at are the typically TnT's and bracket series, which requires a thorough tech inspection.

Rowdy's 66 is just too fast to run these events and pass tech. So he goes to the race nights that only street legal cars can attend, and my car is not registered. These races are not a sanctioned NHRA event so there is no real type of tech inpsection.

I would really like to try and get my ride registered so I could roll out to the street legal race nights..
