My 383 build

This is my engine build for a fun street car/friday night drag strip car.
Anyone have an idea on the power level I can expect from this or have a dyno sim program? I'm shooting for mid to low 12's, but think that's optimistic for a full weight '70 chevelle, it may see a 150 shot of the go fast gas in the future. I still need to collect a few more parts before it's ready to run, here is the basic combo,

4 bolt block, main lined, decked, and bored .030
3.75 forged Scat crank
6" Scat H beam rods w/arp 2000 bolts
Mahle forged coated pistons, 11.3 cr, .005 in the hole
Heavily ported iron 034 bowtie heads, felpro .041 gaskets
Victor Jr intake, port matched and cleaned up a little
Stainless 2.05 intake and 1.60 exhaust valves, 7mm stems, ti retainers ect.
Comp cams stainless pro magnum 1.5 roller rockers
UD Harrold cam 258/266 @ .050 288/296 @ .020 solid flat tappet,106 lsa .540/.560 lift
12 bolt rear, eaton posi, 4:56 pro gears
Th400 reverse manuel shift trans, redneck 9.5" 4500 stall converter
Mt/Et streets 275/65/15 tires.
950 Proform carb
March under drive pulleys

Mike I don't think that you are being optimistic at all.

You've basically got the 383 version of my 355 with a few nods to your favor besides the displacement.

Add to that, your slightly better gearing and a better converter...

I think NA you'll be getting very close to 12.00.

I can't wait for you to get that car on the track!

Thanks Greg, I'm hoping it runs well. The heads have been heavily acid ported for their past life in hydroplane racing. Of course they came the east coast, I would never cheat in racing. You don't see it much out here mainly because it's so expensive to do, but they do flow very well!
I want to run this setup for a couple years and up grade to a solid roller cam when I tub the car. Mostly I just want to get it finished and have some fun.

That combo is going to scream. I'm looking forward to seeing the grin on your face after your first pass.

There is still a big list of items I need to buy and non are cheap. It will be a while before this project sees the track:(

Need:
Fuel system, cell, plumbing, pump, pump rod, log for carb.
Ignition system, wires, dist., control box, coil.
Wheels/tires
Drive line.
Trans yoke
Torque converter.
Pushrods.
Valve covers
Engine oil dipstick.
Shocks
Headers
I'm sure there is more, but as you can see, the list is still rather long.
