is this a correct 69 chevelle bumper?
i was cleaning up around my car and looking over my parts and since i put my rear trunk harness in i noticed my bumper had two housings and i was a little lost so i don't think this is a 69 bumper i think its a 68 bumper but i could be wrong let me know what you think

Backup lamps in the bumper say 68 to me.
|
I also believe it to be a 68 bumper.

angering! i wanted to use them because i have them great thats more money i have to spend :(
|
It is a 68, backup lights on a 69 are in the tail lights
|
Also, the '68 bumper has those ridges pressed into it. The '69 bumper is smooth.

yeah now i guess i have to save for it now. :( like i said on the other thread i want the rear to look good so when i open the garage at least it looks like the car is almost done ;)
|
I'm surprised it even fit on the car... lower corner of the quarter panel is shaped differently from '68 to '69 and the '68 bumpers slope forward on the bottom where '69s go straight downward.

i have heard of people putting 68 bumpers on 69 chevelles but you need to use the 68 brackets on the car. but i guess i will sell it and save up the money for a 69 bumper
