Question on tail lamp bezel

My friend thats been stripping my car for me said that my car is a real SS because of the tail lamp bezel cause its original an it has the black painted around it. Could this be proof? IDTS because I've never heard of it before.

It's BS....
All '69 SS AND Malibu models had the SAME tail light bezel.
