door detent roller
 

The detent roller on the driver's side door hinge is partially worn through and sticks on the guide.
Can anyone tell me:
1. Can I replace it without removing the hinge, and
2. Where can I get a replacement

You need to remove the hinge, but can leave the door on if you support it. Also mark the location of the hinge before you remove it. Detent roller kits are available from most vendors. You did not mention what year you are working on. It not a easy job if you have never done it before, but takes time. I would check the hinge bushings while I had it off also.
