Billet Steering wheels
Is anyone here using a Forever Sharp steering wheel in their car? I just ordered one and it looks fantastic, but I haven't seen one in a car yet. I should have mine by the end of the week and will let you know how it goes. ;)

Guy has that same wheel in a 69 Camaro at the local speed shop - I personally think a cushion grip looks better, but that is just my opinion.
Here is another similar styled Billet Specialties wheel I saw today. Guess it depends on the overall look you are trying to achieve. http://www.mecum.com/auctions/FL0113...d=121212103434 |
I like this wheel. But not sure it would look good in my 72. I want to replace the original, or should I say the Rosewood wheel from a 68 or 69 that I have in mine. Just want a sportier look. This is one of those hind sight is 20/20. I wish I didn't spend what I did on the wheel, could have put that toward a differrent one.

I will. I am pretty serious about changing the wheel this year. But with the car in storage it may not be for a few months. I have to find the one I really want. My birthday is in March, so maybe the grumpy one will get me what I want for my b'day. I will let you know.

I got my wheel today and I absolutely love it. It's very comfortable and exactly what I expected. I've never owned a wheel like this and I hope it doesn't get too hot. Seeing the aluminum backside of the wheel from the front of the car is cool. Here's a pic of it installed. :)
