We were trying to decide on going to this show or Maryland and Maryland won this year but maybe next year .

I've been to this show 3-4 times...including the one held last year.
Always a nice turnout...actually the numbers have been increasing the past few years ever since they moved the date back from HOT August. Great location...held in a mall parking lot right off the interstate...plenty of things to do in the area! Rocky and the gang put on a great event. |
We may go next year ,its another one weve heard good things about .

I have been trying to find some of the shows that people might be interested in. Or maybe they did not know there was a show there. If you know of a show, post about it so others may make plans to go to it. Thanks.

That show WAS an ACES regional...:(
Glad to see most all of the regionals are continuing. This club holds two shows a year...one in Niagara Falls, NY in July...the other show in western Ontario, Canada in Sept... both are a "Must Attend!!" >>> http://www.canamchevelles.org/ Either one only a few hours drive from Detroit. |
There was a possibility that renovations might take place where we have the show, so more than likely our venue will change this year. It's kind of exciting for us, as you have the show in the same location year after year, a change od scenery will be fun!

Last year I actually attended the Peach Tree Show. They put on a nice show. I happened to be in South Carolina and took the hour or two drive over to the show. It may have been a Chevelle show, but it is really interesting to see the cars from the South. I talked to a lot of people as I walked around and the stories of the cars are what made this show for me. Many of the cars had very little done, they had been southern cars most of their lives and didn't have the "Michigan gold" that many of us in the North have. Plus a bonus was seeing flash and his Mrs..
