GM mark of excellence tag location?
 

Can anyone tell me where exactly the metal tags go on the doors? Thanks!

Here's an original '67...placement pretty much the same for all.

Pretty sure they didn't install them on a 71 Chevelle if that's what you have.

There will be a tire pressure decal on the drivers door above the latch, and a blue certification decal below the latch between two horizontal ribs. Nothing else goes in the door jambs on a 70-72.. No GM mark of excellence decals.
