It followed my son home
Looks like my son and his father inlaw found a good find yesterday. Picked up a 70 ElCamino, very little rust for $2400. Still has the original running gear in it and it runs. It's a 350 pickup. Everything seems to work, just needs a a TLC to get it back on the road.

That would look good towing your car. Bowtie smiley
I have a spare LS5 (72'), it just needs to be machined and assembled. I often think an ElCo would be a great home for that engine. |
I'm jealous of the Pacific NW region...seems to be more El Caminos were sold in that area than anywhere else in the US.
Great buy!! |
very nice!!

WOW ,that was a steal .Looks good .

Seems like a good deal!

I told them if they don't buy it I will. Running it's worth double what they he paid for it. Brakes work on it and it's been stored in a dry place. Like said won't take much to get it on the road.

Ray, it looks like you will be doing another frame off. I hope you haven't put all of your tools up yet:D

Ray what a find. I wish something like that would follow me home.

Talked to him this morning and they were driving it yesterday. Not sure if my son or his wife's father is going to keep it. If they don't keep it I will.
