hood not popping up for me
 

ok so i thought maybe i have the wrong hood latch or something. I am not sure when i pull the lever for the hood to pop it doesnt do anything. I took the hood latch part off the hood pressed it in the release and pulled the release and it popped up for me. what am i doing wrong? any advice?

Sounds like the latch or the hood pin needs to be move just a little. Mine was doing that and it was an adjustment issue. If it's to far forward or back it will hang up on the lip. I adjusted the hood pin on the hood forward just a little and my hood now pops up.
