Newbie here Not to CHEVELLE'S
 

Hello to all,glad to find this forum!! Glad to see so many who love the CHEVELLE as much as I do..Dont have one as of now,BUT im working on one as i type! 1971 Malibu with a 454 and a 400 turbo facked to an SS!! Needs alot of work but its a good starting point for sure!!! I have had over 10 chevelles in my time and 4 out of the 10 were TRUE SS cars!!! Two of my favorite are below, that I had built myself!! Hey welcome to the site! That black '71 sure is pretty! Good luck in the hunt for the next one.

Actually earthquake The black one is BLACK CHERRY PEARL!! That car was a cream puff..new oem panels all around including the cowl hood!!! 1971 SS396 4spd!!! loved that car!!
Ms grump the hugger orange was a true 71 SS LS6 454...and me only being 19 at the time didnt have a clue as to what these cars would be worth now...and turned it into a street drag car with around 755hp!!! And I had sold it to a guy here in my home town as i went into the navy in 1988 for $18,000 which was alot of money to a young guy and even back then!! He done a few things to it and sold it to a 18year kid who later wrapped around a tree at 136mph drag racing another car,and lost his life also..... But that car was a blast to drive!!!
