Metrocruisers
 

Metrocruisers from around Detroit kicked off their 2014 season today at KMarts on Telegraph & 8 Mile Rds. They had about 60-70 cars show up for the first of many cruises and shows around here.

Got off to a very chilly (48*) and windy start at 11:00am. After the sun came out it warmed up some but with the wind it still felt cool. It sure felt good to get back on the streets after one very unpleasant winter here.

Ok don't laugh but I did end up getting burnt out there.

Dang ,that looks painful.

Was it wind burn or sun burn. I just found out about 4 of my other friends were out there today too.

Combo of both Nancy. It don't hurt at all John. Who and what they drive Nancy? It was great seeing a lot of friends there. Got a ton of compliments on the car.........makes my day.

One of my friends Glenn drives a silver Pontiac Ventura, not sure what year cause he just got it. The others just went out to see the cars because they are not done with theirs yet. I know the feeling. Sad and Happy at the same time. Sad I can't drive it yet, but happy that I should have it back soon.

Ken, I hope that you put some kind of lotion on that wind/sun burn. Cause you will be hurting tomorrow if you don't. Good luck.
