dupli color paint/summit paint / eastwood paint?
Has anyone had any success with one of those 3 products? i am getting to the point where i have to save for a paint job since my body guy gave up on me. I was thinking about doing it myself since i have all the tools. I just want something to hold me over for like 3 or 4 years until i can save up to get a real paint job with high quality stuff. Any thoughts?

I have read that Summit's paints are pretty good but have never used them ,you might get a local bodyshop to mix you some inhouse ,my shop mixes their own. None of it is cheap though .

Go to a local paint shop that carries automotive paint. Look at all the different paints, feel all the different paints. I found that some looked different in a larger patch. If you know someone who has one of those Pantone guides for automotive paint. I spent way too much time searching for paint colors and manufacturers. I am sure that most of us did.

yeah i am doing nothing but prep work. Now i am at the point since we stopped working on it that i want to finish off the prep and go for it. I was getting a lot of flack about going with a cheap paint, but the way i look at it i need something to drive around this summer. the other body guy is talking about i need quarters and all this leaving me with a big bill that i dont want to pay right now. My car is not a show car its a driver and so what its a little rough i am fine with it..lol

I did the rustoleum trick on one of my car trailers and it came out great with a little work. Here's how.
