Back to SB w glide from bb w turbo 400
 

I am trying to help a friend put a small block (original) back into his 66 Chevelle, it was sent to a shop a few years ago and had the original 283 replaced with a big block. He wants it back to original........Unfortunately the previous shop kept all the brackets/motor mounts/exhaust manifolds and so on. I have looked at many articles to see pictures etc. of the engine bay, not having much luck for details. It is obvious that the engine will not set on existing frame engine mounts, so they and the motor mounts may be wrong ? interference between RAM-HORN style ex as well as hitting the power steering gear box with the pump, bought the pump brackets, supposedly for the SB 66 Chevelle. Any pics of stock engine installed would be so helpful. thanks for the help :-)
