Need Help
 

I've got a 67 BB chevelle I'm working on and I need to set up a passing gear on the 400 turbo. It has a 502 with a 750 dp, polished alum intake, pretty much everything after market. The 67 had the switch on the carb, 68 they went to mounting it inside at the pedal. Couldn't I use a micro switch at the carb, make my own bracket and have it to kick down at WOT? This car has hand controls, and a stk shifter. He's dead set on having passing gear. With the power it has, I don't really see why he needs it. Any ideas?
