Transmission swap

I have a '65 Chevelle Malibu that has a 327 that I'm planning to overhaul this winter and swap out the powerglide with a 4L60. Any advice would be great...

I would look for a stock 454 with a th400. This combo with a 2.73 or 3:08 rear end is a fantastic street combo..

You would love the 327 4L60 combo use a 373 rear gear.
