BB Power Brake Tube
 

My 67 Chevelle is a 396 with A/C, turbo 400 & original Q-jet intake & carb. There is a metal tube that goes from a flared manifold fitting to the rubber P/B hose. It has a bracket that is supposed to attach it to rear carb stud. I bought this tube from 2 different places & "Right Stuff" and none of them works. I can't get the bracket to line up with the carb stud. The tubes I bought may be for a Holley setup. I can't find a used one or a car with one on it. Does anyone have this setup & can supply any info?

Jim, I'm not sure if this will help, but it's a pic I found of a 67 396 with a quadrajet, showing the brake tube. How close is yours?
