Hey you Detroit area guys, the announcer in the 1970 Ad is our one and only Bill Bonds from Channel 7

I have seen them before, but they are great classic adds for the Chevelles. Thanks for sharing it's been awhile since I seen them.

I don't think I've seen them before, well maybe 40 years and I don't remember yesterday all that well.

Well my Chevelle is 40 yrs old. I just looked at the 70 chevelle add from G.M. Man that was really cheesy to say the least.

The Paul Revere and the Raiders tune, " SS396 " is viewable on youtube as well. There are lots of old commercials. I saw one once for this supposed never available option on a GTO (how dare I on a Chevelle website, right? ;) ), where there was a vacuum-operated butterfly that opened in the muffler, to essentially dump the exhaust out before the muffler. That was cool, the guy was cruising a parking lot and opened it up.
