Board and out of money.
This is the kind of stuf I do when nothing else to do.Made a template that fits my dash.Gona be polished aluminum when done with autometer guages.

Good you have the talent to do that kind of stuff. I have an old autometer tach I just pulled. 3" white face, it's for mounting under dash on the column. I guess it can be removed from case and mounted in a dash. It's yours if you want it.

I did something similar with my 64. I had a piece of tin covering the old bezel because it was so thrashed. I recently cut the entire center out of it and fiberglassed a new center into it. I then used a textured paint and cut holes for my autometer gauges. I've still got to purchase a tach and speedo to finish it off. I'll start a new post with pics. I don't want to hijack yours. :cool:
