72cc is not a common chamber volume. You could likely have them milled to use a shortblock with flat-tops (maybe cheaper pistons) , and wind up around 9.5 or 9.7 to 1.

The lifter bores are worn out and cylinders not much better. Its going to be scraped.
The cam, rockers, springs, manifold and heads have 2 miles on them and will be reused.
I wanted to stroke it but then the cam cannot be reused.
Don't know all that much about motors but I think a 355 short block with .270 dome pistons should work nice.
