That's good info. Thanks. Down here in Texas with a no AC car in the summer, the only time I want to drive it during the day is on the highway. Was wondering if it is hard on that big block to run for periods of time at that higher constant rpm. My boat for example is designed for constant rpm's...different cam and all. In the car, I do tach closer to 3k at 70. I tend to just cruise at 65 and let all of the other fools pass me....until we meet at the light!
