I bought a so called "REBUILT" transmission. Please read.
Well, I pulled my "Rebuilt" 700r4 out last night and brought it a local reputable transmission performance shop to get the 2-4 band replaced. I told the shop I bought the transmission 3 or 4 years ago and I only put 8K or 10K miles on it. He tore into and called me to tell me this transmission has approx 150K miles on it according to his experience. He said it looks like some cleaned and painted the case and changed the front and rear seals and shipped it to me.
I bought the trans from Outlaw Transmissions in GA. I now learned about Outlaw Trans and Mad Dog Transmissions and the relationship and reputation.
If you are in the market for a transmission I would go somewhere else.
