Default Jenna's '66 Malibu Wagon

This is my wife's car... finally playing with it again after letting it sit almost the entire 5 years we've owned it.

Painted over the ugly silver stripes on the tops of the quarters, and put my old 17s from the '69 on it... working on getting it in "sell-able" condition (too many cars). We've put around 300 miles on it so far this summer... been too busy to do much with it.

Interior and under the hood need some work, and I still have to put some trim on, but I think it's looking a lot better now.

Thanks everyone!

I like the car, but we have 3 chevelles, a Model T, and 3 daily-drivers... and a 2-car garage. We're really close to being able to pay off our mortgage, and selling one of the toys will help get it done even sooner. Hopefully we'll be 100% debt-free this fall.

Derek, Being debt free is a wonderful feeling but its very difficult to stay out of debt. We have been debt free for about 5 years now and love it .When we get paid now we have a direct deposit from our paychecks for an amount greater than our house payment was to our savings account that we use for our fun money .It sounds like you are car poor like us ,Im still hoping to sell my 55 someday soon for more play money. Good luck getting out of debt and celebrate the mortgage burning.
