Default holley carb return spring

Looking for any help on the right/stock return spring setup on my car. 1966 396/360hp,powerglide. Ran all the #s and its the stock holley intake and carb. The return spring is on a bracket mounted off the front top valve cover hold down bolt. Its also chrome so I know its not right. also looking for a stock air cleaner. I bought a stock one but its for a q-jet.

Wish I could help. I have a Holley carb but it's not stock. Mine has a bracket mounted to the driver's side rear carb stud, same bracket the throttle cable is attached to.

I don't know anyone with a 66 or I'd have them take a pic. Everyone I know has 68 or newer.
