Cruisin The Coast
Anyone going? I know that "Flash" is planning on going along with some others but just wondering if there is going to be a meeting anywhere to place faces with screen names. I will be there again this year but as usual won't have anything to drive. Told the wife and daughter that I am going to register my Chevelle for next year's event and that will help give me some incentive to finish.
Anyway, until then I will just go and be a spectator. Would love to meet up with some of you. Durand

Durand ,I will definitely be there this year and would enjoy meeting others if possible .We will be in our 72 Malibu vert ,its fire red metalic but looks like burgandy with a twist of red .My cell if you see us is 770-833-6975 ,We are staying in D'iberville but will be cruisin all over.This will probably be our last Cruisin The Coast for several years as we want to venture to different shows this next year.

Possibly ,not sure yet what were doing just something different .We also have been invited to the RT 66 Show so we will see what happens. It may depend on when my bosses will let me take time off as they are not happy about the time I take off even though I have the time banked. With all the time Ive taken off this year I still have more time left over than any other guys in my dept ,I just save my time up and take it in larger blocks .The other guys use their time as soon as they earn it and it makes it look like Im out more when its actually less .

We are packed and ready to head out at 5 AM toward Mississippi for Cruisin The Coast .We will be driving a very dirty 72 Malibu convertible as we just havent had time to clean it since our last trip.Looking forward to seeing some old friends and meeting some new ones. I will check in as I can .

Have a safe trip. If anybody comments about the dirty car. just tell them thats what happens when you actually pull them out of the garage and drive them. lol

We didnt do a lot today besides ride around and look at cars and get some much needed rest. There are lots of Chevelles here of all years and from stock to highly modified to everything in between. There are also lots of everything else auto wise to look at including a very nice Hudson parked next to us at the hotel. The weather has been perfect ,cool in the morning and low 80's in the evening.
