Any tips out there for removing the crank bolt? I am replacing the pulley and the center bolt won't budge without turning the motor. I'd rather not use the starter bump method. Any suggestion for blocking the flywheel? Vice grips? Otherwise I assume a impact wrench does well.

I can usually knock them loose with a quick shot to the breaker bar. If not, I have an electric impact that makes quick work of anything I can't budge by hand.
