Here is a reasonable-priced cam that will do the job, and about the biggest I would run in the stock 307.
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/cc...make/chevrolet It will give a little chop at idle and help keep the low end grunt. I prefer the bigger split to help out the weak exhaust runner flow.
